Didcot Railway Centre – Transport Day

Oxford and District Model Club were pleased to provide support to the Didcot Railway Centre last weekend. The club was given a space in the transfer shed to be able to display Oldstead Gate. One of our club members has amassed an impressive selection of model versions of the Didcot collection, allowing visitors to enjoy running a miniature version of the real thing.

People were surprised to be able to actually run the locos, where the team were only too pleased to show them how. Raffle tickets for Oxrail 2022 were also on sale, plus many flyers for the exhibition on the 16th October 2022 were also handed out.
