History Talk – Grove Garden and Local History Club
When researching and building a model of a real location, you naturally amass a vast collection of history and reference materials of the station that you are looking to recreate in miniature. Our club member who built Abingdon has done just that. His knowledge and humorous presentation of the station’s history and development has made him popular with local history groups.
On Wednesday 25th May, he had the pleasure of attending the Grove Garden and History Club to present the history of this lost branch line terminus.
