ODMRC Club Open Day 2023

If you weren’t able to make the ODMRC club open day on the 13th May 2023, we had an excellent time exhibiting some of the club and member layouts held by the Oxford & District Model Railway Club.

Members started turning up at 8:30 to get layouts ready and set up ready to display. We had a great selection of eight layouts on show.

Many of the layouts have their own pages here including Carterton, Bossington, Nippon Tetsudo, and Oldstead Gate, however it also gave the opportunity to show other layouts such as Brymbo which do not often get displayed. Other layouts such as City Basin Goods were also on display.

We were also able to display progress on the Much Wittering project, plus a new club members TT layout in the making.

We also had our second hand stand selling an eclectic mix of bits and pieces. We invited a good number of people who came to enjoy the layouts, and some potential new members too!

By 4pm, and after the consumption of tea and cake, the day sadly had to come to an end. Thank you if you did visit us, and if not, then hopefully we can run another open day soon!
