Pendon Open Day
Back in September, the Oxford & District Model Railway Club were invited to an excellent evening touring the Pendon Museum. The museum is often held as a benchmark for modelling and showcases the amazing ability of their member’s skills.

The evening started with an introduction to the museum, before being split into two groups, with one group touring the Dartmoor scene and the other touring the Vale scene.

And of course, the Madder Valley layout could also be seen, alas it wasn’t running.

The evening ended with a meal held in the museums cafeteria, and of course, no visit to Pendon would be complete without a quick visit to the shop! An excellent evening inspecting modelling of the highest quality!
