Open Day 2024

Back in July, the Oxford & District Model Railway Club threw open the doors to share some of the projects that we’ve been working on.

Layouts on display included the entertaining 90p layout and under the bed layout. One of the Club layouts, Brymbo, was also on display. We also had a couple of micro layouts, one in O gauge called minns yard, and a N gauge micro layout, Rain Folly.

A couple of our regular layouts were on display. Tetsudo Sankei is a Z gauge layout, and our classic layout, Bossington, were also on display.

Another of our members layouts was a demonstration on layout automation, with a small shunting loco working a yard without an operator!

We also had a demonstration on figure painting and 3d printing.
