Silver Fox Exhibition – Milton Keynes 2024

This weekend, the Oxford and District Model Railway Club had the pleasure of being invited to take two members layouts and a club layout to the Silver Fox exhibition at Milton Keynes.

A van was loaded up on the Friday with the layouts being taken and a small crew took Abingdon, Carterton and Bossington to the exhibition venue.

The day of the exhibition started early to arrive at the venue for 7am. Abingdon had been set up the day before, with Bossington and Carterton being set up and tested with time to spare. This enabled some of the club members to enjoy an impromptu testing session before the doors opened.

The exhibition went well with no problems. Silver Fox had put on a good van with some lovely food on offer for visitors and exhibitors alike.

After nearly 8 hours of running, the time came to pack away, however things were made more complicated by a member who had acquired a table. However everything eventually fitted and the journey back home made.
